The Harold Pupkwewitz Graduate School of Business recently conducted an Open Day Session with all MBA, EMBA and MLCM students in the research process facing challenges to complete their research thesis. The special session was specifically arranged for the School to engage with students, listen to these challenges and look at possible solutions to improve and accelerate the research process.

Numerous challenges and concerns were raised by individual students ranging from committed supervisors and support, putting their thesis through internal institutional requirements until the final thesis can be bound. However, dealing with individual challenges and concerns from students can pose serious logistical challenges for the school.

The School, after proper deliberation with students, committed to provide appropriate collective support and solutions that will enhance the research process and provide appropriate support to students simultaneously through continuous engagement via an E-Learning platform.

The newly adopted approach by the School will bridge the gap between the student and the research supervisor and leave a proper audit trail for future reference. This will similarly provide for, continuous tracking and monitoring of student progress with their research for timeous intervention by the school, if required.
