NUST through the Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business offers this Management Development Programme at NQF Level 7.

Programme Objectives

To broaden the perspective of new managers and supervisors, by providing knowledge, skills and techniques that will lead to more professional management, enhance the ability to make sound and informed decisions, increase the effectiveness of working with diversity in the workplace, and to foster awareness of economic, political and social factors affecting business management.

Programme Design

The Management Development Programme comprises of six modules namely:

  • People and Performance Management
  • Strategic Management and Systems Thinking for Managers
  • Operations Management
  • Economics for Managers
  • Finance for Managers
  • Marketing and Customer Service Management

Each module will be offered for 2 days per month over a period of 6 months including intervals.

Certification

The Management Development is designed at NQF Level 7. After successful completion of all modules, participants will receive an Accredited Certificate from the Namibia University of Science and Technology.
