Essentials of Change Management

Change strategies fail when leaders continue to increase efforts in the wrong places. ‘Context is King’ when accelerating strategy or change - this makes it crucial to identify key factors influencing the organisational context and create a clear, aligned view of where to focus energy and resources.

Target

Senior leaders and teams responsible for driving strategic acceleration and change in the organization. In addition, those teams or individuals that have the responsibility to translate the strategy into their own part of the business for rapid execution will benefit greatly.

Outcomes

This two-day programme will:

·      Explore the role of change leaders in planning, communicating and driving change

·      Examine theories, frameworks and approaches available to plan and implement change

·      Emphasise personal, positional and collective leadership considerations

·      Share experiences, anecdotes and learnings from the field

·      Provide a toolkit of resources that change leaders can use

Approach

The programme emphasises a combined approach to achieve learning and programme outcomes:

·    Pre-work/reading to ensure participant alignment and shared perspective from the start

·    Presentation of theory, frameworks and models as a platform for understanding and practice
