Course Description

This course allows you to learn how to effectively manage large and complex projects, through one of the world’s most recognised project management methodologies. In an environment where you can actively participate and engage with both the material and others around you.

This PRINCE 2 course helps you prepare for the international examination which assesses whether you can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the project management methodologies.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you should be able to understand and apply:

• Key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2
• How the PRINCE2 principles underpin the PRINCE2 methodology
• The PRINCE2 themes and how they are applied throughout real life situations and different project enviroments
• The PRINCE2 processes and how they are carried out throughout the project

Entry Requirements
This course is designed for people with an understanding of project management concepts and who are responsible for creating and managing projects.

Duration
This course will be offered two times a week, from 18h00 - 20h30, Mondays and Wednesdays, over a period of two (2) months. (Part-time)

Certification
Certificate of Completion from the Namibia University of Science and Technology will be issued and you will write an external International examination with AXELOS.
