Programme Aims

This training is based on ArchiCAD 21 which offers a one-of-a-kind, BIM-based construction documentation solution. It simplifies the modeling and documentation of buildings even when the model contains an unprecedented level of detail. This course consists of fifteen lessons grouped into five (5) major parts and each level you will learn different terminology.

Entry Requirements

No software experience required, but a general knowledge of architectural design and its terminology is desirable

Students in 3rd year, constructors/engineering/architectural sector seeking a better understanding of BIM and ArchiCAD, are encouraged to attend.

  Cecilia Smith

  Ms Cecilia Smith is a true Namibian, born in Tsumeb and raised in the south of Namibia. A local architect, she moved to Dubai in 2008 and after that to Egypt where she worked for the Hungarian company Graphisoft, which developed ArchiCAD. ArchiCAD offers computer aided solutions for handling all common aspects of aesthetics and engineering during the whole design process of the built environment - buildings, interiors, urban areas, etc. and has been recognized as the first CAD product on a personal computer able to create both 2D and 3D geometry. Smith, who boasts 17 years of professional experience in the industry, is now back in Namibia and serves as a Graphisoft registered consultant for ArchiCAD.
